Located within the historical fabric of Gemlik, Umurbey Square is one of the key social and cultural hubs of the region. Over time, the square and its surrounding buildings have undergone physical wear, necessitating a comprehensive approach to enhance urban life both aesthetically and functionally.

As Piray Mimarlık, our Umurbey Square Design and Facade Rehabilitation Project aims to revitalize the area while preserving its historical identity through a modern and sustainable urban design approach. Our work focuses on:

• Enhancing the functional use of the square,
• Strengthening natural and green spaces through landscape improvements,
• Preserving the aesthetic and historical integrity of surrounding buildings through facade rehabilitation,
• Improving lighting and urban furniture with contemporary design solutions,
• Creating a pedestrian-friendly, accessible, and socially engaging environment.
